This tool uses the active camera's film offsets and overscan to move the view around and zoom in without breaking the animation on your camera.
There are several of these tools available online, but only this one adds the ability to lock onto the selected object. This is very useful for both object tracking and animation.
This tool allows the user to select any camera and any locator, or vertex in the scene and export a 2D tracker to most compositing packages. It bakes down the relationship between the locator/vertex and the camera and mathematically generates the 2D tracker information.
This can be used to create a perfect 2D tracker on a CG character, or any other 3D object. I wrote this tool for "Pan's Labyrinth" so we could track the corners of the frog's mouth and put milk drips on the mandrake baby.
This is a plugin I wrote to have more finessed control when moving objects arounf in Maya. It will nudge any selected channel in the channel box by the increnemt you click on. There are three increments fields for convenience and the values in these fields can be adjusted to any number.
One of the big strengths of this tool is that it works in world or object space. In the future, working in camera space will be a nice addition. It will also store selected channels in a custom node, and load them back if you wish.
Undo has been turned off on this tool as it tends to generate a lot of undos in the queue when you work like this. This is very useful for object tracking and animation.
This tool takes any cameras, geometry, or deforming geometry the user has selected and will export the necessary files to assemble the scene in the package, or packages the user checks.
All of the exported file placement and naming is done automatically so the user only needs this simple UI to do complex scene conversions. This version uses the PointOven Plugin for exporting XSI and Lightwave components.
